Birth Belongs to You - Follow your Womb Wisdom

In a world full of opinions about how and where women should give birth, this post is a gentle but powerful reminder to block out the noise and come home to your own inner knowing. I followed my womb wisdom to choose a home birth and encourage others to honour their intuition and claim birth as the sacred, sovereign experience it truly is.

There is so much noise when it comes to your pregnancy and birth.

The voices come from all different directions: doctors, family, friends, and even strangers.

Everyone seems to have an opinion—on where you should birth, how you should birth, what’s “safe,” what’s “smart.”

But here’s the truth I learned during my own birth experience: this is not their journey. IT IS YOURS.

None of them are carrying your baby. None of them are walking your path.

When I chose a home birth, I learned to stop trying to be understood by others. I learned to turn down the volume of the outside world and turn up the wisdom within me. That deep, intuitive knowing that lives beneath the fear. That place where your baby already speaks to you.

Womb Wisdom.

Birth belongs to you. And you deserve to move through it in a way that feels sacred, supported, and sovereign.

Yes, there will be judgment. Yes, some people won’t understand. But this path isn’t about pleasing others—it’s about honouring yourself and your baby. Your birth story begins the moment you decide to listen inward and follow the voice only you can hear.

You don’t need to explain or justify what you know deep down. You just need to trust it. Because when you lead from that place, you create a ripple. One that reminds others that they, too, are allowed to choose a birth that’s theirs.
